I bet you don't know too many people that look forward to rainy days in the summer. Well if you're reading this, you've just met one. There is something about a cloudy, drizzly day that I just love!
Today was the kind of day where I would catch myself staring outside for long periods of time in the quiet, just listening to the rain hitting the windows around me. Don't get me wrong, I love the sun and hanging out outside on a beautiful summers day, but there is a thing that a rainy day does to me. I feel creative, inspired, warm, introspective, and in tune with the world around me. Rain slows you down and allows you to take a few seconds out of your day to just relax.
